Love Club

GenZ has its way of loving. It’s full of contradictions, less romantic than past eras, less spontaneous, yet somehow freer. Love today moves between urgency and introspection, fast desires wrapped in moments of deliberate stillness. If it once lived in handwritten letters, now it lingers in disappearing chats and unspoken cues. Canadian artist Sophie Breton captures that strange emotional landscape in her new single “Love Club”. The track plays like distant deep house bleeding through club walls, distorted, muffled, almost remembered. It doesn’t invite you in, it lets you overhear. That disconnection becomes the point. With its sparse beat and piercing lyrics, “Love Club” feels like watching intimacy from one step removed, a reflection on how closeness now comes with static in the signal.
